Description
The stazzu is a typical Gallura rural settlement, usually immersed in large agricultural
plots in the hinterland and rarely with sea view. This is an example of rarity, ancient memory that rises in the Cugnana valley, between Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo.
Wisely restored in its native position, in the high and dominant part of the plot land, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub and with a sea view projected on the Gulf of Cugnana.
The long and complex restoration brought back to life the architectural memory of a very simple construction, built in respect of volumes and proportions, on a rectangular plan and divided into two distinct units.
The roofs of the verandas are in reed. The external granite head walls, with exposed stone. In the main structure, the living space is divided into two large rooms. In the living area, the soft-shaped fireplace with the semicircular bench completes the atmosphere of the interiors, recalling the familiar warmth.
The dining area, adjacent to the kitchen, overlooks the covered veranda which runs on two sides of the house. The sleeping area has one double bedroom and a complete bathroom with shower. The floor, once in beaten earth, is now in wood and resin. The patio connecting the two units is in terracotta bricks.
In the second body we find only the sleeping area which houses two double bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The swimming pool with sea view and sunny, was built in the flat part, some large olive trees bring shade on the wooden deck and on the gazebo with a shower in front.
The house is completed by an additional double bedroom with bathroom and external access only.
Equipped with air conditioning and covered parking.
